RJ & Daisy’s wedding took place on a beautiful Friday afternoon. The sun came out with no rain in sight. RJ began his morning with his groomsmen enjoying a home cooked breakfast (complements of his sister) some drinks and a few pictures while they were getting ready. I think the hardest part in the morning might have been the guys trying to figure out how the boutonnieres get pinned on 🙂 After we wrapped up with the groomsmen, I was off to see Daisy and begin her coverage after they were done getting hair and make up done at Keora Aveda Salon & Spa. All of Daisy’s details were nothing short of perfect. Everything seemed to have a sparkle and I couldn’t wait to see everything come together. A short time after arriving and photographing some of the details, all of the bridesmaids and family started coming in along with the hustle and bustle of any wedding morning. Amy, (Daisy’s twin sister) helped her into her dress and fasten all of her jewellery while all of her bridesmaids got ready in a hand full of other rooms. Daisy looked absolutely stunning and her smile made her shine even brighter. Shortly after, the limo had arrived to bring everyone to the Royal Botanical Gardens for the ceremony. We did however make a quick stop at her grandparents house for some pictures since they were unable to attend the wedding. It was a nice way to still have them share the brides special day by seeing her in her dress and having a couple of photos they can always hold onto. After this, everyone was on their way to RBG for their wedding ceremony in the Royal Court. It was a lovely ceremony that represented the couple well. Both Daisy & RJ wrote love messages to each other which was super sweet and during the ceremony had a hand fasting and gem stone wishing with their guests. After the ceremony, the wedding party and immediate family explored the rose garden for wedding photos at the RBG while guests enjoyed some drinks and odourves in the Atrium during cocktail hour. The Atrium was beautifully decorated with silver, blue and romantic flowers in blue, cream and lavender. Dinner was enjoyed with speeches from the brides father, and sister (maid of honour), as well as the grooms sister, and groomsmen Eric. The bride and groom also treated their guests to a short video made to spread some laughs and represent the light-hearted and humorous side of the bride and groom. The dinner was ended with the bride and groom saying their own heartfelt speech for everyone who was apart of the wedding day. The guests were able to spend the rest of the evening enjoying dancing, more drinks, a candy bar, hot dogs, and our awesome Mini FotoBooth. During the party, we snuck RJ & Daisy away for a few more beautiful night shots before the reception was over. Thank you so much guys for having me document your wedding, inviting me into your lives and for a wonderful time. Wishing you many years of happiness and memories!
