It was such a pleasure photographing Jared & Jesstine’s wedding because they are two adorable and loving people. Leading up to the wedding we had the opportunity to photograph some engagement photos of them and I had the chance to get to know Jared a bit more since I had already known Jesstine. Kind, sincere and just a great all around guy and I couldn’t be happier for Jesstine that they were going to get married. This was I think the first time that I photographed the girls getting ready first and then the guys but it was perfect since they were both getting ready at the Carmen’s C-Hotel where they’d have the ceremony later on in the day. After everyone was dressed and ready, we headed off to Sam Laurence Park at the top of the Jolly Cut in Hamilton for their first look, some family photos and pictures with the wedding party.
Beware, I have to admit that I couldn’t narrow down the photos so I went a bit crazy with the amount of wedding photos down below.

I love when the bride and her father want to take a minute for their own first look without anyone around and watch how it unfolds. You can tell just by the images below how close Jesstine is with her dad
I couldn’t believe that the trees in Sam Laurence Park were still in bloom and we took the opportunity to set up Jared & Jesstine’s first look under this gorgeous tree. First looks are a great opportunity to have just for yourselves before the ceremony. The excitement seen on both of their faces says it all and I’m so happy they were able to do this and talk to each other in private before all the guests at the ceremony.

I can’t say enough great things about Sam Laurence Park and all the possibilities there are for wedding photography. Gorgeous greenery, walking paths, flowers, trees and stonework are just some of the things you’ll find and I’m thrilled that they booked this for their wedding photographs.
Just a short time later we were headed back to the C-Hotel for the ceremony on the balcony of the second floor.

We had our engagement session with Lucas back in the fall, and although my fiance and I were super nervous he made it so comfortable for us! I absolutely LOVED every photo he took I was literally blown away! He was great to work with, and it was super easy with him and I had no doubt they would turn out amazing!
We just had our wedding photographed by Lucas at the end of May and he gave me a few sneak peaks while shooting and I was at a loss for words. He really knows how to capture every special moment and I can’t even express how happy I am ❤️ I would highly recommend Lucas to anyone, especially if you don’t want to worry when it comes to getting beautiful photos!
