I fell in love with Matthew & Courtney during their engagement session. How could you not? They’re head over heals for each other and their laughs are contagious to everyone around them. We met at Ball’s Falls to hike and explore the trails, get to know each other better and photograph some wonderful engagement images. In the days prior, I began to get nervous because it was getting bitter cold for their winter engagement photos – Thankfully, the weather broke and we ended up with a fairly warm day and a beautiful blue sky.
It was a beautiful day for Logan & Natalie’s wedding. The bitter cold weather subsided for the day which allowed us to have plenty of opportunities to photograph some wonderful outdoor wedding photos.
With their wedding party by their sides, Logan & Natalie got ready at the C Hotel by Carmen’s
Immediately following the wedding ceremony, we headed outside to photograph their bridal portraits along with their wedding party. Just across the street from Carmen’s is a well known bridge that they fell in love with.
Having access to the second floor balcony was a nice hide-away from the guests for some wedding party photos as the guests arrived
Immediately upon entering the reception at the C Hotel, Logan & Natalie headed straight into their first dance along with their parents dance after dinner
As always, we snuck away for a quick night shot to end the night. It was certainly our pleasure to have spent the day with you Logan and Natalie and photograph the first day of the rest of your lives together as husband and wife. Thanks for making it such a great start to 2017!
If you missed it, here is their engagement session and a few teasers from their photo booth rental
It felt great kicking off 2017 with Natalie & Logan. Before we get to their wedding photos though, I thought I’d share some of the great memories that were made at their wedding reception with our Premium FotoBooth.
Quite possibly the best part of our premium photo booth is that not only does each guest get to take home a photo strip to remember the night, the newly married couple receive an additional copy to scrapbook for themselves. The social media kiosk was also a hit as many guests shared on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram.
If you’re interested in having a photo booth for your guests, feel free to inquire. We’d love to be apart of your big event!
Tis the season for beautiful snowy engagement photos. I can’t imagine why people wait for summer when we have this wonderful season of winter. The day before Logan, Natalie and I headed out for engagement portraits, a storm blew in and left us with a blanket of snow for us to play in. We headed out to one of my favourite places here in Hamilton where we have mature pine trees, a stunning meadow and almost no foot traffic so it’s absolutely peaceful.
Loved this bright red and white blanket Natalie brought along for the photoshoot. Really fun and bright colours will help make you stand out against the white snow.
In addition, they’re huge Montreal Canadien fans so it was only fitting to throw on their jerseys and Natalie decorated the hockey pucks with their “game day” wedding date and “she said yes”
I love family portrait sessions in the winter! In between the cold gusts of snow, we captured some wonderful family photographs. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Joel & Nicole since 2011 for their engagement session. Since then, we’ve photographed their wedding, both maternity & newborn sessions, several family sessions and pretty much all of their friends in Castor Centre 🙂 It has been my sincere pleasure photographing all of their life’s milestones and I can’t wait to see what’s next for them.
After a very fun outdoor session, we headed in to photograph a cupcake smash for Elena
