I had a wonderful time getting to know Bill & Allison and photographing their engagement session.  They are from Ottawa but we photographed their engagement session in and around Hamilton.  We soaked in sun as the sun went down and I’m certain by the looks on their faces they fell in love with each other all over again.  More from their engagement session coming soon.

Senior portraits are something I really look forward to!  I love their energy and how excited they are to finally have some updated stylized portraits.  As you may have seen, I teased a photo a little while ago from Omi’s session – well here are just a few of the other beautiful portraits we captured of her at our studio.

We had a beautiful evening for Jay & Brandie’s engagement session.  We soaked in the warm summer light in the forest that Jay grew up playing in as a child and talking about how they met.  I really enjoyed getting to know these guys and I can’t wait for their upcoming wedding!

A couple tips for a successful engagement session are:  Great chemistry between you (the couple) and willingness to be playful.  Wonderful light based on your location.  Having a photographer that you admire and you have a great rapport with.
