Outrageous and fun would sum up Kevin and Jamie’s wedding party. Last weekend Kevin & Jamie were pronounced husband and wife, surrounded by family and friends at the beautiful Knollwood Golf Club. While the weather didn’t hold up for their outdoor ceremony at the hitching post, thankfully it stopped long enough for us to head outside for some of these bridal photos on the gorgeous course. This trash the dress session couldn’t come soon enough for Sherri. When Kacey and Sherri hired me to photograph their winter wedding last year, she only had one question for me – “do you do trash the dress sessions?” She couldn’t wait to get that dress back on and “just have fun”

Some people call it love the dress, rock the dress and in this case, you can safely say that it was a trash the dress session. No mater what you call it, it’s a huge trend that has been going on for many years. The entire idea is to head out to a location that you might not have had a chance to go to on your wedding day for some amazing photographs – don’t worry about getting the dress a little dirty! I figure why not? Unless you’re renting your dress and need to return it, you’ve just spend a lot of money to wear your gorgeous dress for one day. Let’s head to a rustic location and rock it one more time!

Most of the time people don’t actually trash their dress and they walk away with minimal dirt on it so don’t let the following images scare you
